Brasstown Spring 2024

What a great outing!!!  Many thanks to everyone who made it possible.  Most of all Gerald Thompson who did most of the work.  He had everything covered, scorecards filled out, rules in place, and tee times adjusted; just an amazing job!  With Nick's help, the teams were amazingly equal.  

Jim Sheridan, Jim Adams, and Gerald had tried out the Ridges Resort and they found us a great replacement for Brasstwon.  Less expensive, better rooms, and S'mores and a fire pit!  It does not get any better - oh yes it does - it was on a Lake!

Food at Brothers (evening) and Marys (morning) was just what we needed!

While the course was not as good as it is in the fall or later in the spring, it was still quite nice and had challenging greens.  No question that it was the best weather ever.  We had a wonderful match that needed to end in a tie; and it did.

Steve Melching, Jim Adams and Dudley DeVore won money for all their sub-team members with CTPs.

We hope others will join us in the fall for our next trip.
